$5,000 in Fines Paid by WW Wood, Inc.

On November 6, 2007, WW Wood, Inc. entered into a settlement agreement with ARB and paid $5,000 to resolve the alleged violations in a Notice of Violation. Between January through August 7, 2007, WW Wood, Inc. sold Western Red Fire Starters product in California that was subject to the regulatory standards and certification requirements for the "Charcoal Lighter Material" without obtaining an Executive Order certifying the charcoal lighter material formulation as specified in Title 17, CCR, § 94509(h).
