Warren Oil Company, Inc. Case Settles for $5,500

On March 30, 2010, Warren Oil Company, Inc. settled violations of the Consumer Products Regulations for $5,500 in lieu of litigation.  Warren Oil Company, Inc. offered for sale in California Barbeque Wood Flavors B-B-Q Lighter Fluid product that was not marked with a date of manufacture and was not certified by ARB.  To comply with the Consumer Products Regulations, all charcoal lighter material must be tested by a certified laboratory, obtain an Executive Order from the ARB Executive Officer, and be marked with a date of manufacture.
