Viva Motor Sports Settlement
$1,875,000 in Fines Paid by Viva Motor Sports
The Mobile Source Enforcement Section, in conjunction with the Office of Legal Affairs and Office of the Attorney General for the State of California brought an action in Los Angeles County Superior Court against DEC 26, Inc., Viva Motor Sports, Inc., BH Motorsports, Inc., Nitro Motorsports, Inc., their associated businesses, and Jesse Sarsharigane for importing, offering for sale, and selling uncertified motor vehicles. The defendants stipulated to a total penalty of $1,875,000. This case involved the importation and sale of non-California certified motorcycles and off-highway recreational vehicles to California residents that were subsequently registered or sold in California, which is prohibited by Health and Safety Code sections 43150 et seq.
