$11,500 in Fines Paid by Unified Grocers Consumer Products

On December 10, 2008, a case was settled with Unified Grocers for distributing a non-complying windshield washer fluid product in California.  This product exceeded the 1% VOC limit for windshield washer fluid products offered for sale in non type-A areas of California.  The company paid $11,500 in penalties to settle this case.
