Un-du Products Inc. Case Settles for $5,500.00

Un-du Products Inc. agreed to pay $5,500 for manufacturing/selling “Un-du Sticker, Tape & Label Remover” which exceeded VOC content limits and failed to meet labeling and dating requirements. This product exceeded the 20 percent by weight VOC limit for the General Purpose Adhesive Remover category which resulted in 0.087 tons of excess VOC emissions. These requirements are specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a) Standards for Consumer Products, section 94512(b) Product Dating, and section 94512(d) Additional Labeling Requirements. The settlement agreement was finalized on December 30, 2013.
