$3,000 in Fines Paid by True Value Company

On July 23, 2004, Enforcement Division staff obtained samples of the Blitz USA brand one-gallon and
two-gallon Spill-Proof Systems that were offered for sale at the Price-Less Store in Roseville, California. According to True Value Company's records, 17 stores sold 66 non-compliant containers after being notified by Blitz during their recall in November 2003. The settlement agreement was executed on July 26, 2005, for a payment of $3,000.
