Tree Technology Inc. Case Settles for $1,125
In April 2011, Tree Technology Inc. agreed to pay $1,125.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations; $843.75 went to the California Air Pollution Control Fund and $281.25 to the Peralta Community College District.
Tree Technology Inc. failed to report and label all of the off-road vehicles in their fleet. Tree Technology Inc. is classified as a small fleet under the In-Use Off-Road Diesel Vehicle (ORDV) regulation and therefore, all of their off-road diesel vehicles needed to be reported to the Air Resources Board (ARB) by August 1, 2009 as set forth by 13 CCR Section 2449(g)(1). Tree Technology Inc. has now reported and agreed to pay the $1,125.00 penalty and to comply with the off-road rule and all applicable ARB regulations.
