Trans India Products, Inc. Case Settles for $12,300

A case was settled with Trans India Products, Inc. for selling hair styling products into California that contained concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a). These products were sold from June 1, 2013 to August 1, 2016 and resulted in 0.82tons of excess VOC emissions attributable to the violation. Trans India Products, Inc. paid $12,300 to settle the case.
