Thoresen Shipping Singapore Pte Ltd Case Settles for $2,000

Thoresen Shipping Singapore Pte Ltd has paid $2,000.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on December 9, 2014. An investigation by ARB staff documented that the Thoresen Shipping Singapore Pte Ltd vessel, Thor Dynamic, failed to switchover its main engine from heavy fuel oil to low-sulfur distillate fuel before entry into the Regulated California Waters. To settle this case, Thoresen Shipping Singapore Pte Ltd agreed to the $2,000.00 penalty and to comply with ARB Regulations.
