Taylor Made Racing, Inc. Settles for $7,750.00

In January 2020, Taylor Made Racing, Inc. (TMR), located in Van Nuys, California, settled its case with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) for violations of Vehicle Code section 27156, Health and Safety Code section 43008.6, and California Code of Regulations, title 13, section 2220 et seq.  CARB identified violations from TMR’s sales information for advertising, selling, and offering for sale of non-exempted on-highway add-on or modified parts in California that altered or modified the original design or performance of the motor vehicle’s emission control system between 2014 and 2015.  The per unit penalties for TMR in this case is $250.00 per unit for 31 parts resulting in a total penalty amount of $7,750.00.  TMR has voluntarily decided to shut down its aftermarket parts business and pursue other business ventures.
