From 2003-2006, approximately 172,746 units of non-compliant Cutter Free Backyard Fogger were sold into California which indicated on the labels that the product was suitable for use against crawling and flying insects. Under the Most Restrictive Limit, the product was found to be in violation of the 20 percent by weight VOC limit for Crawling Bugs (all forms) prior to December 31,2005 and the 15 percent limit for products manufactured after that date. The case was settled on May 9,2007 for $45,000.
