$2,000 in Fines Paid by Schwarzkopf Inc.

In March of 2005, Enforcement staff obtained samples of non-complying Silhouette non-aerosol hairspray from a beauty supply store in Victorville, California. After an investigation, it was determined although this product was not intended for sale in California, 12 cans of this product was mistakenly shipped to a California distributor. Schwarzkopf has stopped manufacturing this product and settled the case on February 27, 2006.
