Municipal fleets in low-population counties, and municipal fleets which have been granted low-population status by the California Air Resources Board (CARB), are treated as small fleets in the In-use Off-Road Diesel-Fueled Fleets Regulation (Off-Road Regulation).
The municipally owned fleets in the following counties are considered a small fleet for the purposes of the Off-Road Regulation regardless of total fleet size.
Low-Population Counties: All municipal fleets in the following counties are covered by the applicable provisions for municipal fleets in low-population counties. | Granted Low-Population County Status: The following fleets have been granted low-population county status specifically. Note that if a county is listed, only the county-wide fleet is granted low-population status. Individual municipal fleets in these counties are not covered by the low-population county municipal fleet provisions unless listed by name. |
