Prow Shipping Corporation Case Settles for $3,000

Prow Shipping Corporation pays $3,000 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations.  This settlement was reached on October 21, 2010.  An investigation by the ARB showed that the Prow Shipping Corporation vessel, Belgian Reefer, failed to properly complete switchover for its engines from Heavy Fuel Oil over to Low-Sulfur Distillate Fuel outside of Regulated California Waters.  To settle the case, Prow Shipping Corporation agreed to the $3,000 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
