Prime Marine Management Case Settles for $7,500.00

Prime Marine Management paid $7,500.00 in penalties to the California Air Resources Board, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on November 4, 2013. An investigation by the ARB showed that Prime Marine Management vessel Karei, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters in August of 2013. Prime Marine Management took prompt action after being notified of this violation and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Prime Marine Management agreed to the $7,500.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
