$4,000 in Fines Paid by Palm Beach Motoring Accessories

During February 2005, samples of glass cleaner, instant detailer, and automotive paint sealant manufactured by Palm Beach Motoring Accessories were obtained. After lab analysis showed the products did not comply with the VOC limits in the Consumer Products Regulation, Enforcement staff conducted an office teleconference with the company on December 19, 2005, to discuss the alleged violations. In addition, Palm Beach Motoring Accessories was in violation of the code-dating requirements of the Regulations. After discussing the facts of the case, a settlement offer of $4,000 was offered and accepted by Palm Beach Motoring Accessories and the case was settled on January 11, 2006.
