Pacific Marketing Alliance Inc. Case Settles for $25,000
On February 13, 2009, a case was settled with Pacific Marketing Alliance, Inc. for importing and distributing various non-complying hair care products in California that were manufactured in Japan. All of the containers were labeled in Japanese with stickers showing the English translations and sold in ethnic food markets. The company paid $25,000 in penalties to settle the violations of the Consumer Products Regulation.
