To accelerate action in impacted communities, the California Legislature appropriated incentive funding to clean up trucks and buses and reduce community exposure to air pollution. CARB and many other public agencies offer incentives to businesses and individuals to reduce energy use and adopt clean technologies. Incentives can deliver immediate emissions reductions and typically support the use of cleaner technologies beyond what is required by regulation.
