Understanding some of the factors that make some people more vulnerable to the adverse health effects of exposure to air pollution is a key step in helping communities address and find solutions to air pollution and climate change. There are a number of known factors that make our communities vulnerable to health impacts from air pollution such as the rate of asthma in the region. There are also actions that community members can take to reduce their air pollution exposure.
