OSM Ship Management PTE Ltd. Case Settles for $7,500

OSM Ship Management PTE Ltd. has paid $7,500.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund for violating air quality regulations.  This settlement was reached on April 20, 2016.  An investigation by ARB Enforcement staff documented that the Viking Coral, managed by OSM Ship Management PTE Ltd. had fueled the main engine, boiler, and auxiliary engines with fuel that exceeded the 0.1 percent sulfur limit for marine diesel oil.  The sulfur content of the fuel was determined pursuant to International Standard ISO 8754 (as adopted in 2003).  To settle this case, OSM Ship Management PTE Ltd. agreed to the $7,500.00 penalty and to comply with ARB Regulations.
