ORGPROF: The base file for the organic speciation profiles. It contains the unique listing of the organic profile codes and the profile descriptive name. It also contains the fraction of TOG that is ROG, which, in itself is a speciation.
- ORGPRFCD: Field containing the organic profile code assigned to the speciation profile. This code is an arbitrary code assigned by CARB.
- PRFNAME: The descriptive name for the organic profile. This profile may be used for many different source categories (see SCCORG file information), so the profile name will often have a broader definition than the source categories. In some cases, the profile may be "borrowed" by similar sources, when a profile is not available for a specific source. In these cases, there may be some conflict between the profile description, and the SCC description that it is being assigned to. These assignments are considered "low confidence" assignments, and are taken into account in modeling. In some cases, they may result in the exclusion of the source from certain types of modeling.
- WTFRACROG: This is the fraction, by weight, that the ROG (reactive organic gas: see definition on main speciation entry) is of the TOG (total organic gas). This is a speciation in itself, and is placed in this file simply for clarity, since it would confuse the user if it was placed in the ORGSPEC file.

Using the data
The data in this file are used if you need to know what the definition of a profile is (PRFNAME field), or if you want to know the fraction of ROG that is in the TOG for a given source category. In the latter case, you would link the WTFRACROG field in the ORGPROF file to the SCCORG file via the ORGPRFCD field, and then to the CEIDARS emission data files via the SCC field., in order to perform the calculation.
