OPI Products Incorporated Case Settles for $58,000.00

On May 22, 2013, a Consumer Products case was settled with OPI Products, Inc. for selling and/or supplying non-compliant nail polish remover. This product contributed to 6.6 tons excess Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC ) emissions due to exceeding the 1% by weight VOC limit set under Consumer Products Regulation for Nail Polish Remover specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a). OPI Products Inc. paid $58,000 to settle this case.
