Nordic Hamburg Shipmanagement GmbH & CO. KG Case Settles for $1,500.00

Nordic Hamburg Shipmanagement has paid $1,500.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on January 6, 2014. An investigation by the ARB showed that the Nordic Hamburg Shipmanagement vessel, Nordic Visby, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. Nordic Hamburg Shipmanagement took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, Nordic Hamburg Shipmanagement agreed to the $1,500.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
