One-Stop Truck Event: On Feb. 25, via remote access and in Manteca, CARB is participating in the One-Stop Truck Event being held at Great Wolf Lodge in Manteca. This event aims to provide insight, education, and resources on CARB’s clean truck and diesel regulations, compliance, funding, and more. The public will have the opportunity to listen to presentations, participate in one-on-one discussions and meet CARB regulatory experts and incentive program staff. Topics will include: (1) Clean Truck Check and Compliance Support, (2) Drive Forward Initiative (3) Zero-Emission Heavy-Duty Fleets, (4) Air District and CARB Funding, (5) Requirements for State and Local Governments, and (6) an Overview of the Off-Road and Zero-Emission Forklift Program.
Public Workshop - Carl Moyer Program Guidelines: On Feb. 26, via remote access, CARB will host the first public workshop on the processes for updating the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (Carl Moyer Program) Guidelines. The Carl Moyer Program is being updated to expand the framework and goals of the 2024 Guideline Update and consider the introduction of new concepts. The proposed changes include: (1) Updates to reflect changes in CARB programs and inventory, (2) Potential reintroduction of New Purchase projects, and (3) Revamping of Volume II to expand and streamline its implementation.
Board Meeting: On Feb. 26, via remote access and in Sacramento, the Board will hear the following agenda items: (1) Proposed UC Agreement with the University of California, Berkeley, Titled "Equipment Lead Times and Supply Chain Alternatives for the Phase-out of Sulfur Hexafluoride Gas-Insulated Equipment (SF6 GIE), (2) Report on the California Air Resources Board’s Program Priorities for 2026, and (3) Proposed California Corporate Greenhouse Gas Reporting and Climate-Related Financial Risk Disclosure Initial Regulation.
