Medium- and Heavy-duty On- and Off-road Equipment Incentives
The California Air Resources Board has implemented the following programs providing incentives and funding for on- and off-road medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and equipment related to transforming the medium- and heavy-duty sector and achieving the states zero-emission vehicle goals.
- Low Carbon Transportation Investments – Medium- and Heavy-Duty On- and Off-Road: A portfolio of incentive projects funding medium- and heavy-duty on- and off-road vehicles and equipment, including advanced technology demonstration and pilot projects.
- Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions (FARMER) Program: Provides funding through local air districts for agricultural harvesting equipment, heavy-duty trucks, agricultural pump engines, tractors, and other equipment used in agricultural operations.
- Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program: Provides grant funding for cleaner-than-required engines, vehicles, equipment, infrastructure and other sources of air pollution.
- Community Air Protection Incentives Program: Brings residents and organizations together with their local air quality district and CARB staff to fund and implement community-driven solutions that tackle the specific environmental challenges each area faces.
