This is CARB's notice of approval for Calaveras County Air Pollution Control District's (APCD) submitted project plan to fund the voluntary replacement of old, uncertified wood-burning stoves with cleaner burning or non-combustion alternatives. This project  will reduce fine particulate, black carbon, and toxic air contaminant emissions from households using uncertified wood stoves, wood inserts, or fireplaces as a primary heat source.
