This Quality Management Document Repository is a comprehensive listing of the quality management documents utilized by CARB and the monitoring organizations within CARB’s Primary Quality Assurance Organization (PQAO). To ensure uniformity and consistency, monitoring organizations within CARB’s PQAO are encouraged to utilize CARB’s quality management documents, such as the Quality Management Plan (QMP), Quality Assurance Program/Project Plans (QAPP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

If a monitoring organization within CARB’s PQAO chooses to utilize an alternative quality management document or modify any portion of CARB’s quality management document by completing a Quality Management Document Addendum Form, they must submit the alternative document to their respective PQAO Liaison for CARB review and approval.

CARB utilizes the U.S. EPA’s QAPP Review Checklist  and CARB’s SOP Review Checklist to confirm all required components of a QAPP and SOP, respectively, are present prior to approval.
