On March 1, 2024, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) received a petition to initiate a rulemaking process and other appropriate actions to reduce methane from California dairy and livestock operations. On March 13, 2024, Petitioners agreed to extend the due date for CARB's response to the petition to May 30, 2024.
