Please see below for upcoming public events for the week of December 18, 2023.
Clean Truck Check-Vehicle Inspection System Reporting Training Webinar: On December 18 via remote access, CARB will host a training webinar on the new Clean Truck Check-Vehicle Inspection System reporting database. This will be the fourth webinar of its kind; the first three were held on November 3, November 16, and December 5. Previous webinar recordings and seven training videos have been posted for the public to gain a better understanding of Clean Truck Check Reporting. Attendees are encouraged to review the recordings, the training module videos, and Clean Truck Check Program information before registering for the training webinar in order to ensure questions from all participants can be addressed. Questions can be submitted in advance of the webinar.
Public Workshop on the Update Process for Incentive Program Guidelines: On December 19 via remote access, CARB will host the first public workshop to discuss the process for updating the guidelines of the Carl Moyer Memorial Air Quality Standards Attainment Program (Carl Moyer Program) and the Funding Agricultural Replacement Measures for Emission Reductions Program (FARMER). The Carl Moyer Program, implemented collaboratively between CARB and California’s 35 local air districts, provides grant funding for cleaner-than-required engines, equipment, and other sources of air pollution. The FARMER Program provides funding through local air districts for agricultural harvesting equipment, heavy-duty trucks, agricultural-pump engines, tractors, and other agricultural equipment. CARB staff will provide an overview of these two incentive programs and discuss the upcoming process for potential updates to their guidelines.
Evening Community Meeting on Funding Plan Development Process: On December 19 via remote access, CARB will host an evening community meeting to reflect on the development process surrounding the Funding Plan for Clean Transportation Incentives. Staff will also discuss plans for next year.
