CSA Transportation, Inc. Settles For $90,000

In April 2022, the California Air Resources Board (CARB) reached a settlement in the amount of $90,000 with CSA Transportation, Inc. (CSA), located in San Diego, California. 

An investigation by CARB staff revealed that CSA failed to verify that each hired or dispatched vehicle was compliant with the Truck and Bus Regulation and failed to comply with the recordkeeping requirements under California Code of Regulations, Title 13, Section 2025(x)(2). 

In addition to the settlement amount of $90,000, CSA agreed to not operate or direct the operation of any vehicle subject to the Truck and Bus Regulation without obtaining documentation demonstrating that each vehicle hired or dispatched complies with the Truck and Bus Regulation prior to hire.
