SACRAMENTO – California Environmental Protection Agency’s Air Resources Board and the South Coast Air Quality Management District will hold a three-day conference to report the results of an $8 million Southern California smog study:

The 1997 Southern California Ozone - NARSTO Study (SCOS97-NARSTO), done during the peak summer pollution season, studied ozone formation and movement in Southern California. Ozone remains one of the most health-damaging pollutants of urban smog.
