Nailtiques Case Settles for $6,000

On June 1, 2016, a Consumer Products case, CP16-03-02, was settled with Nailtiques Cosmetic Corp. for selling, supplying or offering for sale a non‑compliant nail polish remover product between January 2012 and September 2015.  This product, Nailtiques Non-acetone Remover, exceeded the 1% Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) limit for “Nail Polish Remover” category and resulted in 0.23 tons excess VOC emissions.  Nailtiques paid $6,000.00 to settle this case.
