MTM Ship Management Pte., Ltd. Case Settles for $3,375

MTM Ship Management Pte., Ltd. paid $3,375.00 in penalties to the California Air Resources Board, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on March 30, 2015. An investigation by the ARB showed that the MTM Ship Management Pte., Ltd. vessel Chembulk Minneapolis, failed to switch over to compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters in a timely manner 3 times in July of 2014. MTM Ship Management Pte., Ltd. took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, MTM Ship Management Pte., Ltd. agreed to the $3,375.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
