International Tanker Management, Ltd. Case Settles for $1,500.00

International Tanker Management has paid $1,500.00 in penalties to the California Air Pollution Control Fund, for violating air quality regulations. This settlement was reached on April 10, 2013. An investigation by the ARB showed that the International Tanker Management vessel, Front Stratus, failed to operate on compliant distillate fuel upon entry into Regulated California Waters. International Tanker Management took prompt action after being notified of these violations and under ARB’s supervision began operating in a compliant fashion. To settle the case, International Tanker Management agreed to the $1,500.00 penalty and to comply with ARB regulations.
