Impex Systems Group Case Settled for $5,000

The Monitoring and Laboratory Division analyzed samples of Scentpourri Air Freshener in various fragrances and found that it did not meet the 3 percent volatile organic compound limit for air fresheners (solids/gels). Impex Systems Group sold approximately 13,258 units of product, which resulted in 0.35 tons of excess emissions. This case was settled on October 13, 2004 for $5,000.
