Illinois Industrial Tool Inc. Settles For $7,500.00

In May 2020, the California Air Resources Board and Illinois Industrial Tool Incorporated, of New Lenox, Illinois, reached a settlement agreement in the amount of $7,500.00.  Illinois Industrial Tool Incorporated sold, supplied, offered for sale an uncertified charcoal lighter material product for use in California which did not meet requirements specified in title 17, California Code of Regulations (17CCR), section 94509(a).  To come into compliance, Illinois Industrial Tool Incorporated is no longer offering the product for sale in California.
