SB 253 – Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act

Thank you for the opportunity to respond to the California Air Resources Board (CARB) March 23rd request for comments on the implementation of California Senate Bill (SB) No. 253, Climate Corporate Data Accountability Act (SB 253). The American Cleaning Institute (ACI) is the national trade association made up of 160+ members and represents the $60 billion U.S. cleaning product supply chain. Our membership includes household and institutional cleaning product manufacturers as well as their ingredient and packaging suppliers. We look forward to working with CARB to share the perspective of the cleaning products industry on the need for interoperability in the GHG emissions reporting space and a practical disclosure program.
