Brake Particulate Emissions

Thank you to the good folks of CARB for the informative workshop and the opportunity for commentary. When it comes to possible future brake emissions regulations, I would respectfully encourage CARB to align to the Euro 7 (UN GTR24) methodology for measuring brake particulate emissions. These measurements are technically very complex, and GTR24 (soon to be transposed into UN regulation) represents a huge effort by industry and regulators over many years (backed by volumes of published research) to do these measurements correctly and in the most repeatable manner possible. If CARB is not comfortable with the WLTP cycle representing driver behavior in the region, then the GT24 methodology can still be applied, but with a different driving cycle.
