Submitted Comment Name Maggie Weber Affiliation Port of San Diego Subject Port of San Diego's Commitment to Collaboration Message The Port of San Diego (Port) is committed to working towards zero-emission freight operations through collaboration with state and local agencies as well as stakeholders. The Port’s Maritime Clean Air Strategy (MCAS) (www.portofsandiego.gov/mcas), adopted in 2021, outlines objectives that will help reduce maritime-related emissions and advance cleaner technologies such as electric heavy-duty trucks, cargo handling equipment, and charging infrastructure. State and federal funding has and continues to aid in the implementation of our MCAS, and we support continued state incentive programs to support implementing plans and strategies that have already been adopted. In addition to the MCAS, another example of this is SANDAG’s Regional MD and HD ZEV Blueprint that was adopted in 2023 (https://sandag.org/projects-and-programs/innovative-mobility/clean-tran…).
