I know that CARB is studying hydrogen use, and I am writing to tell you that I do not want hydrogen in my community. Putting more hydrogen in my neighborhood would perpetuate the impacts of polluting gas infrastructure such as asthma, air pollution, truck and refinery explosions, and flaring. All human and animal life deserve healthy and clean air in their own homes. When belnding hydrogen into OUR clean air, we are risking the health of everyone: Hydrogen is an expensive handouut to the gas industry that hurts environmental justice communities, not a climate solution.
