The Trump administration’s rollbacks are harmful to our health, economy, and environment. We Californians are counting on CARB to fight back. California must respond with strong state-level incentives for EVs, accelerated clean car and truck commitments, expanded charging infrastructure in frontline communities, and new policies that hold polluters accountable. We cannot afford to lose the next 3 1/2 years of energy Luddite president in the development of solutions to energy. These clean vehicle standards don’t just help Californians — they influence national policy and create jobs in clean transportation industries.
