I am hearing numerous comments from local rural residents that they need and want funding for home chargers, electrical panel upgrades, and installation. The communities of Arvin and Lamont are currently implementing an AB617 voucher program to transition their old cars to EVs. The program is working; however, the residents need home chargers and installation, including, in many cases, electrical upgrades to support their EV transition.
