Climate Action CA, along with six other organizations, requested a CA Sales Tax holiday for ZEV Drayage Trucks in Categories 7 and 8, via the Senate and Assembly budget committees, specifically to combat the actions of the federal government against the waivers. This request was not acted upon, but could be reconsidered to create additional incentives for ZEV Truck adoption.
