Submitted Comment Name Thomas Fukuman Affiliation N/A Subject Application No. B0599 Message I am against any proposal of shipping of waste oil via pipeline, trains, vehicles, ships, or airlines for generating power in California. Any spills or leaks caused during the transportation will affect California's sea & land environment negatively. The conversion from waste oil to fuel used to generate power should be performed at the location where waste oil is produced. The County of Los Angeles has facilities to treat sewage into solids and water. However, during my visit to the Hyperion Plant, it doesn't recover any gas generated during the sewage treatment process and purchases gas to operate the facility. After the waste oil is converted to gas or electricity, will any of it be used to treatment process? File Upload (i.e., Attachments): N/A
