Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. Case Settles for $31,143

A case was settled with Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. for selling general purpose cleaning wipes, glass cleaning wipes, and temporary hair color into California that contained concentrations of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) that exceeded the standards specified in Title 17, CCR, section 94509(a). These products were sold from January 2014 to February 2016 and resulted in 0.85 tons of excess VOC emissions attributable to the violation. Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. paid $31,143 to settle the case.
