DH Carrier Inc Settles For $2,500

DH Carrier Inc (DH Carrier) of Yuba City, California will pay a penalty of $2,500 for violating California Air Resources Board (CARB) air quality regulations. The penalty will be paid to CARB’s Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California’s air quality. This settlement was reached in August 2021.

An investigation by CARB showed that DH Carrier failed to comply with the Drayage Truck Regulation (DTR) by failing to register a drayage vehicle into the Drayage Truck Registry. CARB also identified violations of the Periodic Smoke Inspection (PSIP) program. To settle the case, DH Carrier agreed to the $2,500 penalty and to comply with the DTR Program, PSIP Program, and other CARB programs.
