Constellation New Energy Case Settles for $149,200
Maryland-based Constellation New Energy sells electricity into California; such transactions must be accurately reported pursuant to the Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Emissions Reporting Regulation. For the 2013 annual reporting period, the Company provided incorrect and in some respects incomplete data. Constellation New Energy agreed to pay a $149,200 penalty, and submitted an updated GHG Monitoring Plan to ARB to demonstrate that reporting will be accurate in future years.
