Cobra Engineering, Inc. Case Settles for $58,000

Cobra Engineering, Inc. (Cobra) is a manufacturer of aftermarket parts.  Cobra sold, offered for sale, and/or advertised, in California, aftermarket critical emission control parts.  These parts modified or altered the original design or performance of the motor vehicle pollution control device or system. Upon receiving a cease and desist letter from the Air Resources Board (ARB) Cobra immediately halted all performance parts sales and transactions in California.  Cobra promptly and fully cooperated with ARB to resolve the violations at hand. The case was settled in November 2015 with Cobra agreeing to pay $58,000.00 to the California Air Pollution Control Fund.
