Claire Manufacturing Company Case Settles for $4,300

On July 21, 2010, a case was settled with Claire Manufacturing Company for selling and/or supplying non-compliant insecticide.  Claire Bug Buster Insect Killer made representations on the label that the product was suitable for use as a crawling bug insecticide.  This product exceeded the 20 percent by weight VOC limit set under Consumer Products Regulation for the Insecticide: Crawling Bug Insecticide (all forms) specified in Title 17, CCR, Section 94509(a).  Claire Manufacturing Company paid $4,300 to settle this case.
