Christina Navarro Case Settles for $4,000

Christina Navarro will pay $4,000.00 in penalties for violating air quality regulations: $4,000.00 will go to the Air Pollution Control Fund, which provides funding for projects and research to improve California's air quality.  This settlement was reached in June 2018.

An investigation by the Air Resources Board (ARB) showed that Christina Navarro failed to bring one of their on-road diesel fueled vehicles into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards and failed to bring one of their Transport Refrigeration Units (TRU) into compliance with the applicable in-use performance standards.  ARB documented violations as they related to the Truck and Bus (TB) Regulation and the TRU Airborne Toxic Control Measure.  To settle the case, Christina Navarro agreed to the $4,000.00 penalty and to comply with TB, TRU, and other ARB programs.
